Bath Stop War

Bath Stop War is a group of people from the Bath area campaigning for peace and justice affiliated with: Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, Stop the War Coalition, Campaign Against Arms Trade, Movement for the Abolition of War, Drone Wars UK & Rethinking Security.

Their activities include: Public presence - local vigils and demonstrations, Local media campaigns, Support for national actions - publicising and arranging transport to events, and Education - working with other organisations to promote debate

BICEP is a project building local resistance to the far right starting with community education and networking.

Counterfire is a revolutionary socialist organisation committed to transforming our society from one based on the profit motive to one built on the needs of ordinary people. They organise events and workshops amongst other things.

They also believe that all the struggles against oppression are connected. Racism, sexism, and every other form of oppression and discrimination are a product of a society based on the exploitation of workpeople by a tiny minority of capitalists. War, climate change, and inequality are all symptoms of a chaotic system based on market competition.

XR Bath is committed to helping people protect nature and fight against the climate crisis through community engagement and sharing skills, knowledge and experiences that benefit others.
